For those of you not familiar with Microsoft’s Kinect, let
me introduce you to reality…or virtual reality if you will. Microsoft has improved upon the many wireless
controllers that begin to put you into today’s video games. If you haven’t seen
the commercials, (really? Do you even
own a TV?) then you need to go check out what it can do. (Ok, before I go any
further I must admit I’ve been dying to do this since the movie Minority Report
came out. Isn’t it just amazing how many technologies we get because someone
made a movie and had it as a possibility?
Think Star Trek and Nextel phones.)
As expected, people have really jumped on this wonderful
technology and have pushed to have it adapted
to the PC. (Many people “hacked”
their systems to work with the PC before Microsoft officially announced its PC
version.) Given all the possibilities of what this can possibly do and become,
my thought or question for today is:
What will you do with the
Kinect?
